Transport Control Centres
Modern traffic management suites are designed around the same ergonomic requirements and British Standards as CCTV control rooms. A large monitoring wall, used by operators for mapping and overseeing traffic levels, usually forms the basis for the layout.
Large LCD screens and rear projection units are common in new traffic suites as their ability to display multiple images as well as PC inputs provides the operator with interactive flexibility.
Thinking Space offers a choice of solutions to house large monitor walls - from fixed structures and enclosed cladded frameworks to plinths and rear access walls - all of which are bespoke and built around the clients requirements.
