KANYA CUSTOMERS TO SWITZERLAND

Thinking Space Systems were delighted to take two of their regular customers to visit the prestigious Swiss extrusion system manufacturer, Kanya. Members of Thinking Space staff Paul Roberts and Roger Keith escorted Craig Wintle and Ernie Young from Sam Tooling, suppliers of tooling, jigs/fixtures, site services or complex special purpose machines. Alongside Richard Extall and Dave Headon from Cadcam Technology – specialists in embroidery and laser cutting software, laser cutting and engraving machine technology. The trip was a technical exercise to show the UK customers of Kanya where and how the extrusion is made. The visit consisted of a tour of the facilities, meeting all the staff, going through the technical capabilities of the Kanya build system and applying it specifically to the work that Sam Tooling and Cadcam Technology do.

HOST CONTRACT

Host Systems Limited made Thinking Space the first choice for two additional Air Traffic Consoles this month. Having supplied Host with a number of ATC consoles in the past, Thinking Space are keen to build long lasting relationships with all their customers. MOBILE SMARTBOARD CREATION

Thinking Space Systems Ltd have been working with Steljes Ltd to create a mobile Smartboard for the British Army. TSS were approached by Steljes design consultant Don Hay to create a rigid aluminium framework fixed on castors and fitted with gas struts to move the Smartboard vertically. TSS used the Kanya extrusion system to come up with a finished product that will be used by the British Army to assist with briefings for directing ground troop operations.

EXCLUSIVE KANYA CONRACT SECURED

Thinking Space has won a contract to become the exclusive UK distributor for Kanya, the prestigious Swiss extrusion system manufacturer. It will be the new Kanya representative offering the innovative, versatile and robust aluminium extrusions and components to the UK's manufacturing industry for use in structural design.

NEW UK SALES MANAGER WELCOMED ONBOARD

A UK Sales Manager has joined the Thinking Space team in a newly created role to enhance existing client relationships, and identify and generate new revenue opportunities nationwide. Paul Roberts, 29, a former Sales Executive at Tecton said, β€œIt's a privilege to be joining Thinking Space. I am looking forward to a fresh challenge and playing a pivotal role in the company's growth.”

TRIPLE COUNCIL PROJECTS NETTED

Thinking Space won three local authority contracts to upgrade and transform council CCTV control rooms. Bournemouth City Council's review station suite was refurbed, Winchester City Council's CCTV monitoring department now has a transformed security suite and a former office in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets was turned into a brand new CCTV control room.
