Thinking Space Achieves ISO 9001 Quality Management
Thinking Space Systems are proud to announce that they have recently achieved ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certification.
ISO 9001 is a family of standards which demonstrate a quality management system fulfilling the requirements outlined by the ISO, or International Standardisation Organisation. They are designed to help companies in ensuring they meet the needs of their customers and employees, as well as meeting statutory and regulatory requirements. Compliance with this standard has helped to formalise existing procedures and practices that Thinking Space already had in place. The scope of Thinking Space’s registration covers “the design, manufacture and supply of technical solutions to improve working environments”.
Managing Director, Wayne Palmer commented “we are delighted to have achieved this recognition in response to the hard work and commitment by employees in providing a high standard of quality management. Having scrutinized our operations in detail, we can assure our customers that we are committed to providing them with superior customer service and the highest quality products. The certification also helps demonstrate that we have processes in place to continously improve our existing products and services, whilst finding new solutions to enhance working environments worldwide”.
Since the company was founded 10 years ago this month, Thinking Space has grown from 2 people to a factory employing 26 people. The company has shown continuing growth and investment in improving their products and services over the years, launching the new Core Assembly System earlier this year. The aluminium build structure has been designed and developed in-house to replace the previous TS aluminium system, and now forms the backbone of all furniture builds. Thinking Space is also the UK distributor for Novus ergonomic desk accessories and Kanya aluminium build system, as well as Evolution, their own media wall solution.
