In the factory this week…
Thinking Space Systems bring you a round-up of current projects in production here at their factory in Hampshire.
With a busy factory floor this month, a number of interesting projects are taking shape. In particular, multiple consoles and a large Evolution media wall for Nottingham Trams have recently been completed. Representatives from Nottingham Trams visited the factory a few weeks ago to undertake the Factory Inspection Test, a meeting that Thinking Space always welcome from clients.
Of particular note is the large Evolution media wall which has been designed to accommodate two rows of six 55" monitors and a central 55" monitor. Each console has curved end panels branded with Nottingham Trams logo.
Also in the factory currently being manufactured are air traffic control room consoles for Yeovil Airbase. The consoles will be installed into the new tower which is being constructed in place of the old tower.
Thinking Space also welcomed a factory inspection by Rutherford Appleton Laboratories, upon completion of their industrial control room furniture. In addition to a single operator console and storage units, a large console in a horseshoe shape has been manufactured. Of particular interest is the curved end panels and desk mounted Evolution media wall which follows the horseshoe shape of the desk.
