New Video Released: Installing Your Control Room Furniture
Thinking Space Systems have published a new video to their YouTube channel. Explaining the process from manufacturing through to installation of a control room console, the video features new timelapse footage at clients’ Falanx Assuria premises, where a control room installation took place earlier in the year.
There are many benefits which clients can expect when using Thinking Space for their control room furniture solutions. Because all furniture is built to its entirety in the factory as part of their ISO 9001 procedures, there is no risk of problems appearing once on site. Any issues can be ironed out in the factory under close communication with the client. Infact, Thinking Space actively encourages all clients to visit the factory and inspect the furniture for themselves. This factory acceptance test (FAT) can be conducted in person or teams, or by video if necessary.
When it comes to transportation, the design and construction of each console uses the Core Assembly System, which means that consoles can be partially dismantled in sections. This not only helps in packing the console into a crate or van, but allows for speedy re-assembly once on site, minimising disruption to the client. If there are access restrictions to a control room or where space is tight, then the console can be dismantled in such a way to allow for such restrictions.
Thinking Space has over 25 years experience installing control room furniture worldwide and in highly specialised environments, including airside and security sensitive areas.
