euro fever at thinking space

Euro fever!

As Euro fever spreads across the country, the die-hard footie fans at Thinking Space congregated to spend an afternoon last Thursday watching England play Wales in their 2nd group game after a nail biting kick-off to the competition against Russia 4 days prior.

The staffroom housed over 10 people, who willingly gave up their lunch break and shushed their growling stomachs until the crowd sang out at 2pm. In the week prior, we held a charity-focused sweepstake, which allowed members of staff to draw a team to support, with a percentage of the proceeds going to our chosen charity, Romsey Young Carers.

Though the draw had some interesting results, with the first team selected from the ‘hat’ being Germany, all those in the room watched the England game with bated breath, cheering on their home country. And victorious we were, with the last minute goal bringing the room to their feet with group high-fives, and a great team atmosphere.

Come on Englannnd!!
