We walked the Walk the Test Way!
The Romsey Rotary Club’s “Walk the Test Way” charity event, took place on Sunday on a bright autumnal day. A group of 12 of us, including furry friends, walked the “Walk the Test Way” for 11 miles, to raise money for the Romsey Young Carers.
With Thinking Space employees, friends and family starting in Stockbridge, buses dropped the group at their destination at 10:30am on Sunday with everyone eager and ready for the day with spirits high. Kids and adults alike were motivated to complete the walk to raise money for their chosen charity, walking anywhere between 25.5 miles – 5 miles to show their dedication.
With toilet stops and water breaks along the way, the group trudged along at their own pace and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of woodland forests, farmland animals and Mottisfont Church, a grade one listed building, until they reached their destination. Taking a total 4 hours and 15 minutes, the group finally strolled past the finish line at 2:45pm with cheerful smiles to receive their medal and be congratulated by the other volunteers.
Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to anyone who has donated. If you would like to make a donation, please visit our JustGiving page.
