Manufacturing control room furniture locally
Just as Christmas approaches, our Australian company Thinking Space Systems Pty Ltd has been busier than ever now that they are manufacturing control room furniture locally. Managing Director Lee Evans now has the factory all set up and console-building is flowing.
This follows an indepth training course held at our Headquarters in the UK back in April, where Lee got to grips with the Core Assembly System, learning the ins and the outs of our furniture build solution.
In what will be an exciting year for the Australian arm of the business, it kicks off with their first calendar event, the Avalon exhibition in February. Thinking Space have their own stand at the well- renowned ATC event and Lee will be demonstrating the console he is currently manufacturing (see photo).
Suitable for ATC tower environments, the console has a dropped back desk design to allow for viewing of the runway and aircraft movement areas below. Moni-Trak Monitor mounting for radar equipment and VCCS will be demonstrated, along with an example of a desktop flight strip holder.
See the console being demonstrated at Avalon from 28th February to the 2nd March and meet our international sales team who will be available to offer their expertise in designing air traffic control rooms.
