Technical solutions for your control room at IFSEC International 2017

 In News

Thinking Space Systems are delighted to be returning once again with their technical solutions for your control room at IFSEC International 2017, the security industry’s’ leading event. Held at the ExCel arena, London, the three day event is held from 20th until 22nd June.

With over 10,000 security solutions, live product demonstrations and networking with over 27,000 security professionals achievable, it is the largest security event in Europe. As with previous years, a host of inspirational speakers are headlining the event. Rock star physicist Professor Brian Cox OBE, Dame Kelly Holmes and Falklands War veteran Simon Weston OBE will take centre stage over the three days.

Thinking Space will occupy their usual stand position, stand H1125, demonstrating their latest furniture solutions for security control rooms. The focus this year is on their ability to create technical solutions to suit your individual requirements.  A prototype console will be on display, which tells the story of an extensive consultation process with the client in order to create the optimum design. Having visited their factory as part of the development process, design issues were addressed and the final prototype was produced for further review by the client.

This is a great story illustrating how Thinking Space work with you and your team to develop the console you want. They take into consideration the integrity of the entire control room operation when proposing a design solution. By dividing the ergonomics of a control room into three specific areas of need, a console solution can be created to achieve increased productivity levels, an efficient use of space, and positive health benefits, a change from what can usually be a highly static working environment.

The health benefits in particular are addressed with the second console demonstration offered at the stand. The electrically operated height adjustable console allows each operator to control the height they wish to work at, all at the touch of a button. They will also have a demonstration of some remote control options for operators, offering superior levels of personalisation.

A range of accessories will be on display, from Novus monitor mounts and tablet holders, to the new Novus Attenzia task lamp.

Now represented in nine countries worldwide, a specialist sales team will be on hand to offer advice on ergonomics for your control room, with plenty of examples of past projects and designs to offer by way of illustration.

If you would like to arrange a meeting with one of the team, please get in touch.
