Thinking Space to host Mountbatten School Business Patron’s Club Event

Thinking Space are delighted to announce that the next meeting of the Mountbatten School Business Patrons’ Club will be held at their headquarters in Romsey, on Tuesday 11 July at 5.30pm.

The Mountbatten School Business Patrons’ Club provides a rich source of partnership with Hampshire companies, who lend their expertise in the classroom and provide a pathway into the working world. Some of the Patrons have pledged to take on Mountbatten School students for apprenticeships and work experience in a bid to provide experience in the workplace. In particular, Thinking Space hosted two work experience placement students back in April, as Managing Director Wayne Palmer is the Club’s President and is keen to give students a different perspective on career paths other than through university routes.

This event is open to all businesses in Hampshire who have an interest in work experience placements and apprenticeship programmes. This will be the focus of the event, with presentations which give the point of view from the employer’s angle, the apprentice and work experience student experience, and Mountbatten Schools’ perspective.

There will also be the chance to tour the factory to see a typical manufacturing business and chat to fellow businesses in an informal networking environment.

If you would like to attend this event, please email to confirm your attendance, before the 4th July.
