In the Factory in May 2018

 In News

As we hit June, we look back on another busy month in our factory, where the floor is bursting with activity. In the factory in May 2018, we focus on two large projects which have dominated the factory.

A large contingent of desks bound for the USA are currently residing in a large proportion of the factory. A total of five desks of varying configurations have been manufactured, which overall create 19 positions for one of the world’s largest chemical manufacturers, INEOS. Some desks are fully assembled, some part assembled, and are all ready for dispatch.

The largest console, which accommodates 5 operators has been fully assembled. Two positions have been populated with Novus monitor arms and storage cupboards mounted to the desk, above the desk surface. Each position offers a Moni-Trak system to slide the monitor column mount left or right. Underneath the desk are removable ventilated panels giving access to the void for cable management, using the 2 tiers of cable baskets fitted. The two operator consoles have also been fully assembled (see photo).

Also last month, the Kanya team were busy with enclosures. This particular enclosure is a press guard with a lifting front door section which operates on a counter balance system. The project involves pre-assembly by Kanya to test the counter balance system, before being dismantled and flat-packed, ready for dispatch to the customer.
