Rose Road Fundraising Update
So, a quick Rose Road Fundraising update for you. Over the last month, we’ve been busy fundraising again, and we’re delighted to say that we’ve smashed our target for the year already!!
As the World Cup arrived, we took the opportunity to kick off our fundraising efforts again with a sweepstake. As we drew our teams, there were some interesting coincidences occurring. Firstly, we had Piotr and Reza draw their respective birth-place teams. Then we had Tina, who drew out Argentina.
The final result saw Steve Neville winning the sweepstake (see photo above) with runners up Wayne and Steve sharing the scoop between them. But most importantly of all, we raised £16 for the charity.
Next up, we had our Gin O’clock raffle. After a generous donation from clients’ Bombay Sapphire, we held a raffle for 6 bottles of gin. Our gin-winners were Wayne, Connor, James, Gary, Steve and Andy. All other entrants received a prize donated from another of our clients’, Mars confectionery. A big thank you once again to Bombay Sapphire and Mars for their kind donations.
So, everyone was a winner, and particularly for our charity, as the raffle brought in £250. This now means that we have smashed the target we set ourselves and have currently raised over £1400 for the charity.
A big thank you to everyone who has supported us so far and donated to this local cause. We’re looking forward to catching up with Rose Road and learning what it means to them.
And of course, we’re still charged for more fundraising events…the final of the TSS Bake-Off with guest judges, Walk the Test Way, and a special Christmas quiz we’ll be hosting…catch up with all the events here on our blog.
