Trio Medal Haul for Lee

Australian Managing Director Lee Evans is celebrating his success at the Australian Police and Emergency Services Games after a trio medal haul.

Competing in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament, Lee individually scooped a gold in the over 35 category, silver in the open and bronze in the absolute category. He tied in second place but came runner up in the fight off. His NSW team combined picked up a good show of medals all round.

The annual competition hosts 52 sporting events over a week with over 3000 athletes taking part. Dating back to 1984, it was first organised to bring Police service personnel together under the common banner of sport. In 1999 all emergency services were invited to compete and has expanded to include New Zealand and other Pacific nations.

Well done Lee, a great achievement!
