Second Control Room Upgrade at the UEA
Thinking Space have returned to the University of East Anglia to complete the second control room upgrade at the UEA.
Back in 2015, Thinking Space undertook the upgrade of the main control room, after meeting the then Head of Campus Support at an AUCSO conference. So pleased were security and facilities staff with their new working environment, it proved to increase morale, focus and wellbeing of their teams. “Thinking Space were professional throughout the entire project process. So easy to work with, they took all the problems away and delivered a completed project on time and on budget. The staff love working in the new environment and have a renewed focus because of it”, explained Christine Beveridge, Head of Campus Support in 2015.
Thinking Space met UEA at further AUCSO conferences in the following years. Having built up a working partnership with security integrator Check Your Security, who were responsible for the delivery of the UEA’s control room project, Thinking Space were once again tasked with working their magic at the Sainsbury Centre. Its security control room required an upgrade too. This world-renowned art gallery is home to the art collection of Robert and Lisa Sainsbury, as well as the Anderson Collection of Art Nouveau and the University’s Abstract and Constructivist Collection as well as temporary galleries. Thinking Space were the number one choice to provide security control room furniture in the form of a two operator console and media wall.
Thinking Space returned to the UEA last month, to find out how both projects had improved the working environments of staff at the University.
