Security Focus Newsletter 2019 Now Available
This week, we bring you our security focus newsletter 2019, featuring projects within the security sector and our attendance at this years’ IFSEC International Exhibition next week.
In this packed edition, we feature our latest security case study featuring Aston University.
Back in 2013, we met Aston University at an AUCSO conference and were asked to provide proposals for their security control room which featured old wooden desks and a mish-mash of mounted CCTV monitoring screens.
Fast-forward five years, and their control room now boasts ergonomic furniture, suitable for 24/7 use and a light, spacious working environment for staff.
Acting Head of Security, Caroline Bluck explained how Thinking Space had created the ideal working environment, with their clever space planning techniques and choice of finishes and materials.
“It was a complete re-design, with the focus on creating not only a user-friendly space, but a calm atmosphere, essential when controlling emergency incidents”.
Also in our newsletter, we feature our latest addition to the team. Darren Allen has been appointed as our new International Sales Manager.
Finally, it’s all about the printing! We recap on our project to install a brand new printing production here, which we have achieved with the help of government funding. The new digital printer will print patterns and textures directly onto the panels that clad the furniture framework. We will be launching the new concept at IFSEC, along with a competition to win your chosen print.
Lots to read, and lots to see at IFSEC 2019 from 18th- 10th June at stand IF2000.
