COVID-19 Update

Here is our COVID-19 update to explain how we are operating at the moment.

We are fully operational, but will update you on this page whenever there are any changes to our working practices.

We are closely and constantly monitoring the situation and are following government advice to support the efforts to contain the virus, protect our employees and our customers.

UPDATE 24TH MARCH 2020

All design staff are now working from home, continuing to provide design proposals and manufacturing drawings for production work.

The Production Team are continuing to work under the social distancing guidelines, and kitchen/food preparation areas have now been closed.

UPDATE 19TH MARCH 2020

Remote working and social distancing has been implemented with some of our new plans and protocols as follows:-

  • Internal control measures

Social distancing has been introduced, new deep cleaning processes continuing, awareness training complete, remote working implemented for Sales and Project Management teams, split breaks and lunches between teams and home working introduced

  • Travel

UK travel to customers is being restricted to essential meetings only. International travel stopped 6 weeks ago. Staff made aware of high-risk family members.

  • Delivery protection and current commitments

Online meetings held with UK and international suppliers, additional stocks on order, future funding and finances in place. Vetting process underway for delivery and collection services.

  • Response plan

Plan in place if virus detected, all monitoring checked daily and local support and advice reviewed daily.

  • Single site association

Each employee is single site positioned to reduce spread.

  • Meeting protocols

Most meetings cancelled, cleaning and visitor forms required before attending sites. Cleaning systems set up and guidelines signposted in reception. All staff trained about new meeting protocols. Meeting sizes limited.

  • Additional cleaning protocols

Kitchen cleaned before and after every break and lunch, limited numbers in canteen between clean up sessions. Hand washing training given. All workstations cleaned 4 times per day.
